The European Article Number (EAN) is a barcode standard, a 12- or 13-digit product identification code. Each EAN uniquely identifies the product, manufacturer, and its attributes; typically, the EAN is printed on a product label or packaging as a bar code.

To sell to retailers internationally an authentic EAN or UPC code is required by most major retailers and many of our key retail partners. It is the lowest most specific form of identification as it is unique to a style down to the colour and specific size. If you're only looking to sell to small boutiques and retailers this may not be required.
